HorseHage offers an ideal feed for ALL horses and ponies.
It is consistent and reliable, containing nothing but pure grass in the Ryegrass, High Fibre and Timothy varieties.
The Alfalfa variety contains only pure Lucerne.

The fact that HorseHage is dust-free makes it ideal when your horse is stabled.
It comes with a 100% quality guarantee.

it contains no:

  • chemical additives
  • mould inhibitors
  • flavourings
  • molasses
  • inoculants

HorseHage is more digestible than other forages, allowing more efficient utilisation of the available nutrients, and because it retains so much of the nutritional value of fresh grass, HorseHage helps to improve condition and adds a natural bloom to the coat.

High Fibre HorseHage is made from a selected mix of grasses that are high in fibre and lower in protein and energy levels.
Because High Fibre HorseHage is low in energy, it is generally suitable for all riding club and Pony Club horses, native ponies, veterans and those that are resting, convalescing or prone to laminitis.
The HoofKind logo denotes its suitability for horses and ponies prone to laminitis.

The unique fermentation process that the grass undergoes in the production of High Fibre HorseHage keeps the sugar and starch levels considerably lower than in other forages.
High Fibre HorseHage also provides an excellent fibre source for competition horses being fed high levels of concentrates.

Feeding Guideline

Per day 1.5 to 2% of the body weight.
Concentrates may possibly. be reduced by 1/3.

Shelf life: Unopened, HorseHage can be stored for up to 18 months, once opened it must be consumed within 5-7 days.

Occasionally a creamy white substance forms on the HorseHage. This is not mold, but yeast and is a naturally occurring substance and usually disappears when the HorseHage bale is open for 24 hours.

When a bag is damaged and oxygen has reached the HorseHage for an extended period (more than 5 days), mold can develop. Mold can be gray, orange, blue in color and should not be fed.
